Sites around canazei, dolomites
Col Rodella - 10min gondola ride. Both South & North facing.
Take off height: 2400m. Thermals usually start by about noon. The launch site is pretty big, it's easily top landable.
The main sightseeing tour is first to go to the South East flanks of the 'Sasso Lungo', then back to the 'Sella'.
After top landing to warm up and a bite to eat it's possible to cross the valley and climb on the south side of the 'Marmolata Galcier'.
There is also a lower launch for lower cloudbase days.

Canazei - Col Rodella cable car station. Atitude: 1400m amsl.
Very easy to get into after flying the tour of the big mountains around launch, however there are easy places to land everywhere in the whole Fassa valley.
The local flying school use these landing for students. They are both huge and easily identifiable from the air. There are many restaurants and bars in the village of Canazei.
This LZ is a very short walk from the accommodation of Campitello.
