Advanced XC - Pinzgau
Thursday, March 5th, 2009Over the last years I’ve been toying with the idea of running an Advanced course for pilots who want to achieve something special, the 140km Zell am See out and return flight.
This flight is possible after April and although is easily do-able on the right day there are many keystones to the flight, depending on average speed and meteo wind.
This course will feature full retrieve back up, essential when crossing the Gerlos Pass.Pilots should have around 150hrs to consider joining and feel confident in their ability to thermal, apply speed whilst gliding & pick appropriate landing options if need be.
If there are no kilometers to be had on the North side then we’ll relocate to either Greifenberg or Bassano.
The price is 550euro inc. accommodation, guiding & retrieve.
